With a career spanning almost four decades, GRAMMY Award-winning violinist Joshua Bell is one of the most celebrated artists of his era. Bell has performed with virtually every major orchestra in the world and continues to maintain engagements as a soloist, recitalist, chamber musician, conductor, and as the Music Director of the Academy of St Martin in the Fields. Puerto Rican soprano Larisa Martínez is praised and sought after for her “smoky soprano” (Opera News), gracing the world’s top stages and collaborating with major household names of today, and is a passionate advocate of accessible music education.

Featured on the Oscar-winning original score The Red Violin by John Corigliano, Bell partnered again with the composer in 2025 for the World Premiere of the TDSF and AFCM-commissioned song cycle Tennessee Songs. He and Martínez will take the stage with Music Director José Luis Gómez leading the TSO in the premiere of the newly orchestrated version of Tennessee Songs before performing Bruch’s virtuosic Violin Concerto No. 1. The program will also include Rossini’s Overture to La Gazza Ladra, Leoncavallo’s Intermezzo from I pagliacci, and Verdi’s ballet music from Macbeth.
