Virtual Recital Now Available

Arizona Opera is proud to partner with the Tucson Desert Song Festival in presenting a virtual recital by the acclaimed tenor Bryan Hymel.  Hailed by The New York Times for his “unflagging stamina and impetuous abandon,” Hymel is the winner of the Metropolitan Operas Beverly Sills Artist Award and the Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Opera, among countless other honors.

Mr. Hymel has also served as TDSF’s 2021 Artist-in-Residence.

Bryan Hymel’s recital premiered on Sunday, April 25th and is now available to stream.  The program includes selections from Turandot, Otello, Die Walküre, Manon Lescaut, and more.  Mr. Hymel is joined by American conductor and pianist Michael Borowitz.
